Starting with November 1st, 2011, the fee for checked-in baggage will be charged according to the travel period, as follows:

Starting with November 1st, 2011, the fee for checked-in baggage will be charged according to the travel period, as follows:

The service can be used within 14 days before the departure time and up to three hours before take-off. At the end of the online check-in process you must print your boarding pass, which you will present at the airport for boarding.
Thus the waiting time at the airport is reduced, and passengers who travel only with hand baggage will show their boarding pass directly at the gate with 60 minutes before take-off. Passengers with checked-in baggage will have to go at the Checked-in Baggage Offices, with 90 minutes before take-off.
To maintain quality and comfort of flight, from October 19th, 2011, there will be a fee for the check-in done at the airport, valid for departures from Brussels. Passengers who choose airport check-in will pay 5 euro when booking the service online, at Blue Air or partner agencies, or through Call Centers. The tax for airport check-in paid at the airport before departure is 10 euro.

Starting with July 25th, 2011, the administrative fee (tax) for purchasing a ticket on the Blue Air website by credit/debit card transactions will change from 5 to 6 Euro/ passenger / flight segment. The fee will be added to the final price of the ticket.
The fee for transporting each piece of checked-in baggage changes from 16 Euro/baggage/flight segment to 17 Euro/baggage/flight segment, when the tax is paid during ticket booking. This fee is added to the fare shown on the website and is applied to every piece of luggage/flight segment purchased.
The fee of 30 Euro/baggage/flight segment in case the luggage is paid in the airport during departure formalities at check-in/ticketing remains the same.
Please remember that each passenger is entitled to 4 pieces of checked-in baggage; the maximum allowed weight for each checked-in baggage is 32 kilos per piece. Baggage weight cannot be accumulated between two or more passengers.
For children up to 2 years old (Infants), a free checked-in baggage up to 32 kg is accepted. If a stroller of one or more pieces is brought for the infant, it will be considered checked-in baggage, and other baggage will be charged according to the conditions of carriage for luggage for adults.

If a stroller of one or more pieces is brought for the infant, it will be considered checked-in baggage. Other pieces of baggage will be charged according to the conditions of carriage for luggage for adults.
Until now, for children between 1 month and two years of age (Infants), a free checked-in baggage up to 10 kg was accepted.

In the situation in which a passenger presents at the boarding gate a baggage that does not comply with the designated weight and size of the hand luggage, as stipulated in article 8.5.1 of the Conditions of Carriage, the passenger will be charged an additional fee of 50 Eur/baggage/passenger/flight segment, the baggage will be assumed and transported as a checked-in baggage.
We reserve our right to refuse the transport of any passenger or baggage that does not comply with these terms and Blue Air will not be held accountable for any damage caused by the refusal of carriage. The fee will come in title starting April 1St 2011.
