E-Border Form
We inform you that the Home Office of Great Britain has issued a formal request to all carriers in which all passengers that wish to travel to and from Great Britain starting with the 1st August 2009 must fill in the information of the below-mentioned form, in order to improve security, achieve a greater efficiency for the frontier formalities, thus improving the passenger flow.
This program is called Eborder and its purpose is to collect and analyze electronically the information supplied by the carriers about every person that plans to travel to or from Great Britain, before the departure date.
As an effect, the time spent by passengers in the destination airport will be shorter, because the data will be processed before they land.
Passengers who do not supply all the information required to Blue Air, with at least three days before the journey risk to lose their travel rights.
Furthermore if the information supplied by the passenger is not correct, he will answer legally, risking not to be accepted by the border control in UK, when the data will be compared.
In such a case the return to the country of origin of the passenger will be solely his responsibility and expense.
This information is protected by law and will be kept for a maximum period of 10 years. They are used solely by the law-empowered authorities to process this information in order to fulfill their official duties.
